Flow Tech Serves the Wastewater Industry
Flow Tech is proud to service the water and wastewater industry by providing ABB’s variable frequency drives (VFDs) to water and wastewater facilities. Water and wastewater processes have to be efficient and reliable. Pumps, conveyors and other motor driven applications all use energy, and optimizing those processes should be simple. ABB VFDs and scalable programmable logic controllers (PLCs) feature built-in application functions to control flow, pressure and level; they can help facility managers see how much energy they are saving.
ABB Goes to WEFTEC 2016
Since ABB is a major manufacturer of water and wastewater products, it only makes sense for them to take advantage of one of the biggest water quality expos around. This year ABB will not only exhibit during WEFTEC 2016, but they will host an annual sales meeting and training for their channel partners associated with their water and wastewater drives. The channel partner meeting will focus on introducing new products to their rep network, as well as discussing best practices, and “The Future of Water” keynote panel. Flow Tech’s Brian Robinson and Andrew Marques will both be attending this year’s channel partner meeting and WEFTEC trade show.
ABB’s booth #2014 will have several products across their ABB solutions for water, including the new ACQ800 ULH Drives, a key piece to their Drives Water portfolio. Other products they plan to show are Meters/Measurement; MCC, DCS, Active Filters and PLCs. Several of their best application engineers will be on hand to answer questions and explain the best uses of their products to the show’s attendees.
ABB will host a better than ever customer appreciation event during WEFTEC 2016. This year they have asked The Water Council to co-sponsor the event, “Who you choose matters!” The event will take place on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pat O’Brien’s on 624 Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA. This is an invite-only event. If you are interested in attending please contact Nichole Petersen for ticket information.
WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference, is the largest conference of its kind in North America and offers water quality professionals from around the world with the best water quality education and training available today. Also recognized as the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world, the expansive show floor provides unparalleled access to the most cutting-edge technologies in the field; services as a forum for domestic and international business opportunities; and promotes invaluable peer-to-peer networking among registrants. This year WEFTEC will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. The show runs from September 24-28, 2016.
