Take Me Out to the Ball Game – Flow Tech’s 2nd Annual Yard Goats Outing

Last May we showed our respect for the yard by attending our first company Yard Goats Outing. We had so much fun that we decided to do it again this year! We enjoyed a beautiful night at the ballpark last night. We’ve found that May is the perfect month to attend a game because it’s not too hot and summer vacations haven’t started yet.

Since the party deck worked out so well for us last year we booked it again for last night. The only difference was we were on the Sam Adams party deck (behind first base) instead of the Heineken party deck (behind third base). The overall consensus was the Sam Adams party deck provided a better view of the field. A food buffet and non-alcoholic drinks were provided in the package.

Throughout the course of the season the Yard Goats organization hosts themed nights to raise awareness for various causes. Last night it was Pink in the Park. Attendees were encouraged to wear pink to show their support for those affected by Breast Cancer. Several Flow Tech employees’ family members have battled with the disease, and luckily, have beat it or are in the process of beating it. Many of us proudly wore pink to represent them.

Between Flow Tech employees and their guests we had about 30 people attend the game and had a terrific time. The fact that the Yard Goats beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats was the perfect ending to the night. Below are the pictures capturing the fun memories.
