Brian Robinson conducting Drive Training

What’s a Drive?

Hopefully you’re aware that we are a manufacturer’s representative and we rep thirteen different manufacturers. The manufacturer we’re usually best known for is ABB. We provide their variable frequency drives. Although we have¬†seven extremely talented and knowledgeable Field Technicians that are proficient in installing, maintaining and servicing the drives, we also like to train our customers and/or contractors on the ins and outs of VFDs. We provide various types of training depending on the need or experience level- anything from drive basics to drive start-up training.

Today we’re hosting a “Drive Expert” training in our office. Drive Expert training is for those who already possess drive knowledge and have seen/worked with them before, but would like a little more hands-on experience. We cover everything from basic drive theory and programming to troubleshooting and maintenance. This is wonderful for those familiar with drives, but what about those who don’t even know what a drive is? You’re in luck! Below is a video produced and posted by ABB explaining what a drive is…

We’d love to discuss drives more with you. If you’re in need of a variable frequency drive, or have any questions please contact us! You can find more information on our website. If you found this post was helpful, please share it with a friend. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and connect with us on LinkedIn either!
