Flow Tech is proud to be a contributor to this ZNE project. We represent the facility monitoring manufacturer Aircuity and provide their OptiNet system which was selected for the health and science building. OptiNet provides safe, smart and efficient building ventilation, airside solutions and indoor air quality through the moderation of a series of sensors and sensing suites installed throughout a facility. The sensors monitor things like carbon dioxide, dew point and carbon monoxide, to name a few. By monitoring the level of these items, the system can tell how many, or how few people occupy any of the various areas being monitored, thus providing the most efficient amount of heating, cooling and ventilation to the given areas.
You can imagine the energy and monetary savings the Aircuity OptiNet System provides a facility. Bristol Community College is undergoing a huge initiative, but thanks to the help of Flow Tech and Aircuity this challenge just got a little easier to accomplish.
